The existing insulation was removed and disposed of, 270 mm of new Knauf loft roll insulation was installed with 100 mm fitted between the joists and 170 mm laid across at right angles, eaves vents were installed, and a new drop-down loft hatch was fitted with the ladder adjusted accordingly.
